What should a lab technician resume include?
Lab technician resumes in India are checked for your qualification (DMLT, BMLT or B.Sc. MLT), the departments you have worked in such as haematology, biochemistry or microbiology, the analysers you can run, and your quality habits: sample handling, calibration, controls and NABL documentation. State daily sample volume and shift work, and list any state paramedical council registration separately.
Skills recruiters look for:
- Phlebotomy and sample collection
- Haematology testing
- Clinical biochemistry
- Microbiology techniques
- Blood banking
From our sample resumes:
- Abdul lists the departments and instruments from his internship, which tells a hospital lab manager exactly which benches he can cover from his first shift.
- Sujata shows quality work, Westgard rules, external assessment and NABL audits, which is the main thing that separates a senior technologist from a bench technician.
