Who should use a minimal resume template?
Minimal templates strip a resume back to type, spacing and alignment. There are no boxes, icons or blocks of colour, just clear headings, a single accent at most and enough white space that each section stands on its own. That restraint makes them read as confident and calm, and it suits product, design, writing, research and senior roles where clarity is the point. Minimal does not mean empty: the spacing only works when the content is tight, so keep bullets to one or two lines and cut anything that does not support the job. These designs are mostly single-column and work well with applicant tracking systems.
