What should a data scientist resume include?
Data scientist resumes are judged on models that went beyond a notebook: what problem you framed, which data and methods you used, how you validated the result and what changed in the business. Indian employers look for Python, SQL, machine learning libraries, experimentation and some deployment experience. Name the model type and the metric it moved, and keep courses short.
Skills recruiters look for:
- Statistical modelling and hypothesis testing
- Machine learning with tree-based models
- Feature engineering
- Model validation and monitoring
- Experiment design and A/B testing
