About the Charter design
Charter is styled as a classroom newspaper. A breaking-news ticker runs across the top, followed by a masthead with volume and issue numbers and the title “The Classroom Record”. The newsprint background is warm grey-beige with press red, navy and sepia, and type mixes Domine headlines, PT Serif body text and the Special Elite typewriter face. Sections include what you teach, areas of focus, an archive of projects and primary sources, achievements, schools you have taught at, testimonials, op-ed articles and a request-a-meeting form.
