Principals, developers and recruiters search LinkedIn by typology, software and certification, so the headline should carry those words rather than a bare title. For architects, built-work photographs with a caption explaining one design decision, and a compact portfolio in Featured, count for more than long posts, and COA registration belongs visibly in the profile.
Designing low-energy buildings for Indian climates — GRIHA Certified Professional, sustainable architecture
Abstract labels match no recruiter search. The rewrite names a typology, two planning competencies unique to hospitals, a key software and registration, which is exactly what healthcare developers and practices filter for.

A few short first-person paragraphs, ending with how to reach you.
I’m a junior architect at a mid-sized practice in Ahmedabad, working mainly on bungalows and small commercial buildings. My work covers the unglamorous but essential parts of architecture: working drawings, municipal submission sets, area statements and coordinating revisions with structural and MEP consultants. I visit our sites every week, and those visits have taught me more about detailing than any studio jury did — how a sill actually meets a wall, and what happens when a drawing leaves room for interpretation. My B.Arch thesis explored climate-responsive housing for hot-dry regions, and I still bring that thinking into projects: courtyards, shading, cross-ventilation and local materials wherever the brief allows. I’m registered with the Council of Architecture, work in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Lumion, and I’m currently learning Revit. I’m always glad to connect with architects and consultants working on climate-sensitive design — feel free to message me.
I run a 12-person architecture studio in Chennai, and over 18 years we have completed more than 40 buildings — schools, diagnostic centres, hostels and private homes. Our approach is simple to describe and hard to do well: buildings that work for the people using them every day, suit the climate they stand in, and can be built properly by local contractors. For a school, that means classrooms with good daylight and cross-ventilation. For a diagnostic centre, it means patient flow, infection control and room for equipment that will change. I lead design and client relationships, and I stay involved on site through key stages. I also teach as visiting faculty at a school of architecture, which keeps me close to how the next generation thinks. The studio is empanelled with two public bodies. If you are planning an institutional or healthcare building in Tamil Nadu, I’m happy to discuss it — message me here.
Written by the DigitalCVMaker team for architects applying in India. Every example is original — none is copied from a real person’s profile — and each is built around what employers and clients in this field look for: the role, a specialism, and proof you can back up. We revise the page when that changes; the date at the top shows the last update.
These are examples to adapt, not real people. Swap in your own numbers, specialisation, city and achievements — it only works when every word is true for you.
Upload a compact selection instead: three to five projects in a lightweight PDF, or a link to your portfolio website. Large files load slowly on phones, and principals often browse LinkedIn on mobile. Credit your firm and collaborators, and leave out drawings your employer considers confidential.
Yes, once the project is public and the firm permits it. Tag the practice, state your role clearly, such as “project architect for design development”, and avoid implying sole authorship. Sharing site photographs with a short note on one detail is a good way to show real involvement.
