About the Mise design
Mise is designed around a working kitchen pass. The hero is charcoal with ember sparks drifting upward and a pulse light like an order printer; the body is warm cream with ember orange, chilli red, herb green and gold accents. Bricolage Grotesque sets bold headings, Archivo the body text, and Space Mono the ticket-style labels. Sections follow a service: a chef card, the station (skills), service (method), the line (experience), training, plated and awarded, notes from the kitchen, brigade testimonials and a hiring ticket.
Design highlights
- Ember sparks drift up through the charcoal hero, drawn with pure CSS animation.
- Experience is presented as “the line”, from commis station to head of the pass.
- A hiring ticket at the end lists cuisine, kitchen size, shift pattern and notice period.
- Brigade testimonials let sous-chefs and managers vouch for you, not just guests.
