Network engineers are sourced on LinkedIn by certification, vendor and the type of network they support. A headline that names your Cisco or other certification, the protocols and platforms you configure and the size or kind of network you run helps recruiters for banks, service providers and managed service companies shortlist you quickly.
Network Engineer | CCNP Enterprise | OSPF, BGP, SD-WAN, FortiGate | 450-branch banking network
The original repeats generic words without detail. The rewrite names the network type, the vendor, specific technologies, an authentication method and the location, which helps recruiters match the profile to campus and enterprise projects.

A few short first-person paragraphs, ending with how to reach you.
I look after the network for a bank with about 450 branches across western India. For six years I have worked on routing, switching and firewalls, and today I spend most of my time on our SD-WAN, MPLS links and FortiGate firewalls. The project I learnt the most from was the SD-WAN rollout. Branch links were expensive and failovers to backup were slow, so tellers sometimes waited minutes for a transaction to go through. We moved branches to SD-WAN with 4G backup in phases, tested failover at each site and trained the field team. Link costs came down and failover now happens in seconds. I hold CCNP Enterprise, write clear change plans and keep network diagrams up to date, because the next engineer at 2 a.m. needs them. If you work on branch networks or SD-WAN, I am happy to connect. Please message me here.
I am a CCNA-certified engineering graduate, and I enjoy finding out why a network is slow. During a four-month internship at a NOC in Noida I monitored WAN links for about 120 branch sites, raised tickets with ISPs and learnt to read alerts without panicking. I also configured VLANs and trunk ports on access switches under supervision and used Wireshark to show a senior engineer where a DHCP issue was coming from. That moment taught me to trust packet captures over guesses. At home I run labs in Packet Tracer and practise subnetting until it feels automatic. I am now studying for CCNP and learning firewall basics on FortiGate. I am looking for a junior network engineer or NOC role in Noida, Gurugram or Delhi. Please reach out here if your team is hiring.
Written by the DigitalCVMaker team for network engineers applying in India. Every example is original — none is copied from a real person’s profile — and each is built around what employers and clients in this field look for: the role, a specialism, and proof you can back up. We revise the page when that changes; the date at the top shows the last update.
These are examples to adapt, not real people. Swap in your own numbers, specialisation, city and achievements — it only works when every word is true for you.
Yes, if you work with both regularly, since many Indian enterprises use mixed vendors and recruiters search for each name. Keep it short by naming one routing and one security platform. List other vendors in the Skills section, where they remain searchable.
Show the configuration and troubleshooting work you already do, such as VLAN changes, firewall rule checks or link failover tests, not only monitoring. Mention any lab practice or certification. A headline focused on what you configure helps recruiters see you as ready for a project role.
