A product manager’s summary should show ownership, users and outcomes in a few lines. Recruiters for Indian product companies look for the journey or feature you owned, the type of user it served, a directional result, and the teams you worked with. Vague phrases about vision and strategy rarely survive the first interview round.
Product manager with 6 years in consumer fintech, owning the onboarding and KYC journey for a lending app used mainly in tier-2 and tier-3 India. Introduced vernacular screens and video KYC fallbacks, lifting completion of onboarding by about a fifth. Works with design, engineering, risk and compliance from discovery to launch.
The rewrite gives the owned feature, the users, the discovery method and an outcome, plus a habit of learning from support, which proves product thinking instead of naming it.
For students, interns and your first year or two.

Written by the DigitalCVMaker team for product managers applying in India. Every example is original — none is copied from a real person’s profile — and each is built around what employers and clients in this field look for: the role, a specialism, and proof you can back up. We revise the page when that changes; the date at the top shows the last update.
These are examples to adapt, not real people. Swap in your own numbers, specialisation, city and achievements — it only works when every word is true for you.
Share them only if they are not confidential and you can explain how they were measured. Many PMs use directional language such as “roughly doubled” or “by about a third” to stay safe. Interviewers care more about how you found the problem and tested the fix than the exact number.
Focus on decisions you owned: which features went into a release, how you gathered requirements from end users and how you measured adoption. Name the client industry, not the client. Product companies hire services PMs when they see real prioritisation work rather than only backlog administration.
